Nestled in Le Fornet hamlet, 20 m from the shuttle bus stop, and 150 m from Le Fornet cable car, La Marsa Chalet is located right in the heart of Parc de la Vanoise. From its windows, you’ll see chamois and ibexes from February onwards.

La Marsa Chalet is a ski-lodge that combines luxury and intimacy, and that is designed to make you feel at home in a family atmosphere that is both cosy and comfy. It was built in 1999 in the spirit of the traditional local architecture (local stone for the walls, slate for the roof). Interior decoration and furniture are in traditional Savoyard style.

The genuine Val d’Isère resort ,and Espace Killy are only 5 minutes away (free access with shuttle bus), but the chalet is set at the foot of the wildest and most sought after area in Val d’Isère: Le Fornet and Pissaillas glacier.

This area of Espace Killy is where the most beautiful off-piste routes start from. But watch out! Never ski off-piste without a mountain guide to advise you, and show you the way.

Should you prefer more peaceful activities, the area just around Le Fornet is perfect for ski-shoeing along the Isère river, where the view is remarkable: remember to take your camera!

And if you’re simply craving for a sunbathe, you’ll find deckchairs on the balcony.
